While looking for a potential place to stay in Chicago, I befriended one Melissa Vargas. While she was unable to host me, we made a point to try to meet up before I left Chicago. We met in her neighbourhood, Pilsen, which is a Mexican neighbourhood in the city. Melissa took myself and another CS-er to her favourite taco restaurant before we parted ways and I headed off to the National Museum of Mexican Art. She was really kind, very funny, good-hearted, and very genuine. Though it was too bad I couldn't stay with her, I was glad our paths eventually crossed, even if it was just briefly.

A great half hour production, this troupe is legendary in Chicago. Their 30 plays in 60 minutes was weird, absurd, hilarious, uncomfortable, touching, and everything in between. A great way to end my time in this place called Chicago.
